For my first reading of literature circle, I really enjoyed how Mr. mitche was trying to connect with the kids. I really liked how he used Michael Jordan to really try to create a bond with the kids so that they could settle down in the class. I also really enjoyed the fact that he tried to keep in touch with kids that are no longer his students. For example, I like how he tracked down Tavres. It was interesting to see him connect with him at the age of 20. To me, this shows how much Mr. miche really cares about his kids. He had to go a long way to search for Tavers and it wasn't easy. I liked this because you wouldn't normally see a teacher do this in real life. For someone to track you done after years is a statement to me. This scene really stood out to me.
